The HomeTech & Electra 2024, an international exhibition of electronics and household appliances, is currently taking place at the Atakent Center in Almaty. The exhibition will run until August 1. On the first day, July 30, over 2,500 visitors attended the event.
More than 100 factories from Central Asia, China, South Korea, and Turkey, as well as entrepreneurs and representatives of trading networks from Kazakhstan and Central Asia, are participating in the exhibition. Notably, electrical equipment from over 30 factories in Guangdong Province and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China are on display.
The exhibition features a forum titled “Prospects for the Development of the Electronics Market in Central Asia,” along with B2B sessions, a fair, seminars, reports, and presentations by leading manufacturers. The HomeTech & Electra Innovation Awards 2024 ceremony is also scheduled to take place.
Seminars for forum participants were led by prominent experts, including the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Association of Customs Brokers, the founder of the fast-food chain “Lanzhou” and Chairman of the Central Asian Franchise Association Gulbanu Maigarina, the founder of the Entrepreneur Academy “Business System” Lyudmila Puchkova, and others.

“Almaty is the largest market for goods and services, with over 350,000 SMEs operating here. The household appliances industry is a priority sector in our economy. We provide necessary support to investors and are ready for comprehensive cooperation. State support measures are available in the Almaty Industrial Zone and the SEZ ‘Alatau.’ The Almaty Business Development Company also offers a one-stop-shop for investor support,” said Alisher Satybaldiev.
